You are God's temple. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1Corinthians 6:19; 3:16). Perhaps this is a new concept for you, but this is nothing new to God. Many feel God resides in a building. Nothing could be farther from from the truth. God dwells and lives in His people. You are God's building (1Corinthians 3:9). When you draw near to God, He draws near to you. When you repent of your sins and invite the risen Christ in your heart by the power of His Holy Spirit, He comes in to inhabit your heart as His home. Christ the anointed One does that by the power of His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit then seals your confession of faith and invitation wherewith you invite Christ to reign and rule in your heart (Ephesians 1:12-13). The Spirit of the Lord bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God (Romans 8:16). The Holy Spirit breaks chains and begins to rearrange. The Holy Ghost cleans house, perfecting you from the inside out (Philippians 2:12-13). Religion tries to change you from the outside in. God however changes you by His glorious Spirit from the inside out. Religion doesn't really know what it is all about. God however is in control and knows how to make you whole. The Spirit of truth, which is the Holy Spirit, knows every detail pertaining to your life. The Spirit of the Lord, Jesus said, will lead and guide you into all truth (John 16:13). Denominations only impart partial truth, most of which they put a fence around after the death of their founders. God however establishes you in the present truth of His Word, will and ways. God orders and blesses your days. Yet one of the spiritual laws of heaven is putting feet to your faith. Faith without works is dead (James 2:26). Therefore you must hear the Word of the living God and take action upon it. Work the Word of God in order to make it work and produce in your own life. As you do God will "work with you" (Mark 16:20). God will not entirely and exclusively work for you. However God will most certainly work with you. We worship and serve a miracle working God. Yet there is the "working of miracles," which requires you to work with God (1 Corinthians 12:10). That means you do what you know how to do. You do all that God has shown you. You step out and launch out into the deep giving God something to work with so the two of you can meet up in the midst of your miracle. Prayer sets a miracle in motion. Putting feet to your faith moves you closer to the receiving of your desired miracle. Christ in you is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Now let Christ within you move through you! Only believe and you will see the glory of God! Now get moving child of God and watch what the Lord will do with and through you! |
