Foreign Heads of State and Radical Fundamentalists - Are They Viable Leaders?

Have you consider that many political leaders in foreign nations often rally the radical religious fundamentalists in order to secure their place in politics and received a good large percentage of the votes? It is true and as we look at the President of Iran we see a perfect example of what happens when a politician rallies the radical religious fundamentalists in order to get elected.

But, if we believe in democracy and we have these kinds of things going on in the world then is democracy viable and are these leaders who are elected using this tactic are they viable leaders? And if they too are radical religious fundamentalists themselves then how can the rest of the world deal with them?

Obviously right now with the president of Iran the United Nations and the leaders of the free world have no choice but to try to deal diplomatically with the situations that are involved. But if this does not work and leads to war we have a serious problem with democracy in that the radical fundamentalists of a religion get behind a certain politician who holds their views.

Unfortunately these views are never in line with the rest of civilization in the free world. We know that the easiest way to build a team is to pick an enemy. But if the enemy is evil and evil is anything that is different from their radical religious fundamentalists views then we have a problem. And that sums up the situation in Iran; we have a huge problem. Please consider this in 2006.
